"Seems like something that would be offensive" Auroth said as he held the Gem of True Summoning in his hands....
Quickly he moved into the shop, taking note of the weapons all around him and the guy working the coutner as he moved towards him. Quickly he placed the Gem of True Summoning on the Counter and then looked hard at the man.....his red eyes apparant under his purple glasses.
"Take a look at the Gem" he said in a kind yet not so kind tone "And tell me it's value please..."

Borgoff took the gem up to the level of his face. He scratched his head. HE had never seen anything like it. He went to go get a rare instrument, magnifying glass. For in those days, glass was a very rare material and only the richest of men had glass. Borgoff saw some sort of magic in it, though he did not know what... It seemed as though within a gem, there were veins. And witht that, it seemed the veins were flwoing with magic.
"I am no dealer with magic, but I know this: This is a rare gem. I will offer 123 gold, but that is only because I do not know what it does and I dread the thought of magic. I am sure you can fetch a better price elsewhere."
(Keep in mind me and Shaun are prolly gonna come up with some stuff to raise prices for stuff for better swords now..)

Takaru had just entered the town once more.He had the horn of the cheiften in one hand and the staff in the other heading for Borgoff's ship.He wanted to sell them for gold and then see if eh could buy a weapon. His rapier has served him well but it was becoming rusty, and dull,he needed something stronger.
He opened the door to the shop adn entered it and placed the horn and staff on the counter.
"Ill give you the horn for the 130 you offered earlier and how much can I sell this staff for?"He asked as he stood at the counter.

"Hmm" Auroth said as he examined that Gem. "I, however, who passionately studied the arts of Magic knows full what what it does.....It is a Gem that allows the User to never fail when summoning a creature, and that creature will always obey the master.....It was a very rare and powerful artifact...and despite you aren't a dealer in magic, i wonder if you could perhaps raise the price of the Object to 150 as oppose to 123....after all, this delicate object is probably worth more and i suppose you could go sell it to a traveling summoning mage...I mean if there were to be a traveling mage that studied summoning as a art, this would be invaluable to them no?"
With that Auroth sent a simple smile to Borgoff, placing his hands Coolly on the counter as he leaned in and looked at the gem. "Or better yet, we can trade for something...how about you find a object to which you think is equal in value to this, And I'll see if the trade is fair..."
