HONOR
Introduction
Duel of Destiny
*It was raining heavily on the moonlit night. The sound of crickets was all that could be heard, with the exception of the breaking waves on the nearby shore. Atop a cliff, two warriors glared deeply into eachother, as if to see their opponent's soul. On one end, Crimson, a great warrior whose sole duty is leading The Red Guard, a group of elite knights, into battle. On the other end, Yazhuta, a fierce blademaster, dressed in all black. His eyes glowed a dark purple, and his hands were ready to unsheath his weapon. This was to be a fierce battle.*
"Yazhuta, you have plagued this land for long enough. Too long have I stood idely by while you slowly destroyed what I have protected all my life. Now is the time that you feel the pain that has been gathering inside me for so long." Crimson said without moving an inch. He knew this standoff would end in someone dying, just who, he was unsure of.
"Heh heh heh, oh Crimson, you never change...Always so protective of your city...When will you learn? Everything that is created will die, why can't you accept that fact?" Yazhuta replied while moving his arms closer to his weapon.
"I know that someday Luceria will fall, but it wont as long as I'm alive." Crimson said.
"Well then, I'll have to kill you." Yazhuta said with a grin. He quickly revealed his weapon, a large scythe. It was a dark metal shaft with a skull on the end. The skull's mouth was open, and from its mouth came the scythe blade.
"You can try you monster!" Crimson cried as he unsheathed his long sword.
*The two's eyes met, and Yazhuta lunged forward and swung his scythe. Crimson jumped backwards to avoid the blow, and countered with a sword thrust. Yazhuta turned sideways and the bladed just missed his face. Now, Yazhuta spun, sending his scythe towards Crimson's midsection, making a dodge almost impossible. So instead, he attempted a parry. To his dismay, the scythe has too much force behind it, and it knocked Crimson backwards into a tree. He uses his sword as a crutch to get up again. Then from nowhere, forms a fireball and throws it at Yazhuta. The demon didn't see it comming, and it knocked the scythe out of his hand. Then, another fireball was launched, knocking the scythe off the cliff and into the ocean.*
"Damn you Crimson..." Yazhuta hissed. He turned his attention back to Crimson to see him standing.
"You cannot beat me without a weapon." Crimson said mockingly. "Just give up now"
*Yazhuta tilted his head, threw his arms to his sides, and twin katar blades emerged. Yazhuta grinned.*
"You were saying Crimson?" Yazhuta said in the same tone in which Crimson spoke.
*The standoff was short-lived as now Crimson ran forward and slashed. Bad move. Yazhuta ducked and jammed a katar into the thigh of Crimson. THe warrior crumbled, and Yazhuta stomped his boot onto Crimson's sword hand, breaking it. He then kicked his sword into the ocean.*
"Crimson, you fought well, but not well enough..." Yazhuta slammed his katar into the chest of Crimson, and now the only sound in the woods was a scream.
"Your kingdom shall burn Crimson, and from the ashes, shall arise a new capitol. One that will shake the foundation of reality itself"
