Appearence- A tall man, Daven has pale skin and short, spiky brown hair. Glasses. He wears long, flowing, silk trousers and a loose shirt under his blue silken robe. He only needs to wear loose clothes, his ice magic lets him resist cold and pretects him from extreme heat. Thick leather boots.
Personality- A strange man, Daven has a seemingly split personality. A gifted actor, he appears to strangers as a kind, friendly young man with a good heart. However, in combat, this all changes. He becomes a cynical, emotionless sadist. Which one is the real Daven? Those close to him say it's a cross between the two.
Fighting Style- Daven prefers to take down enemies with his magic, at a distance, using as little of his magic as possible. He only uses his more powerful magic when an urgent need presents itself. Unfortunately, ranged combat magic doesn't always work, so he has been trained in the art of fencing. His fencing isn't as good as his magic, so he prefers to use it to press his opponents back, allowing him to take the ranged advantage again.
Weapons-
Fafnir Blade. A rapier of an excellent build, Daven spent days enchanting it with his own magic. It is designed specifically to reflect opponents attacks and would be the perfect weapon, if it were not for the fact that the enchantments had majorly hampered it's killing power. While fine for running through an enemy, it proves difficult to actually get clean hits on an opponent with the weapon, the blade itself seems to focus more on attacking an enemy's armor than the flesh itself.
Darts Just regular darts, no enchantment, no poison. To give himself an edge in combat Daven has invented himself this little trick. While casting his Icicle Magic he places inside some of his projectiles these darts, so that when he faces an other ice mage or a fire mage, they may stop his icicles but not the projectiles inside of them.
Magic Art- Ice Magic
Spells-
Icicle This spell allows Daven to create large Icicles, around twelve inches long, and shoot them at his opponents, the basic ice offensive spell. Can be used in high multiple numbers.
Frost Arrow A more advanced version of icicle, this allows him to create a larger, generally around eighteen inches, ice projectile. Unlike the icicles, this projectile can have it's path controlled significantly, like a homing missile. Unfortunately, his control over these is not absolute, he cannot make any drastic turns, speedy halts etc. Can be used in multiples of up to five, but that number will for a short time take up most of his energy/concentration.
Ice Javelin The most direct of Daven's spells, this creates a veritable spear of ice, averageing at around six feet long. Making an ice structure of this sort takes time and energy so steering is minimal. Also, Daven can only manage two without exhausting himself.
Ice Wall This spell creates a thick wall of solid ice, providing an excellent defence for the caster. The spell is malleable in it's dimensions, allowing it also to be used as an offensive weapon, trapping an opponent too slow to escape from it's reaches.
Frost Touch The ultimate assasination move, the Frost touch is one of Daven's favourite spells. Although innefective on most people adept at the magic arts, it allows him a near instant kill on an unsuspecting opponent. It involves Daven getting close to his opponent, placing his hand on them, and freezing them from the inside, resulting in instant death. Unfortunately, it has it's drawbacks. Daven has discovered that most adepts have an unconcious self defence from this sort of attack, their magic protecting them from the spell's grasp. This being, the only way for him to use the spell effectively on other adepts is for him to use it when his opponents are asleep, or otherwise incapacitated.
Ice Extensions Using this spell Daven uses ice formations as extensions of his own body ie. growing blades through his hands, giant claws of ice etc.
Ice Clones With enough concentration, Daven can harness the power of ice to copy items in the nearby vicinity, maybe even himself. Unfortunately, it is difficult for him to keep these clones up for more than two or three hours, once this time runs out, they melt into harmless water. When cloning himself, he can make the clone walk, talk & fight realisticly but cannot make the clone cast all but his most basic spells.
Frost Daven can, as an ice adept, control frost in all it's various forms. This allows him to fog glass, create ice, freeze water etc. This spell is really just a summary of all the minor, uninteresting ice spells. He also has the ability to shatter ice. But then again, who doesn't
Ice Sphere This spell allows Daven to make a thick bubble of ice, which allows him to fly over difficult terrain and traverse areas quicker. This spell is designed like a one way mirror, so that his opponents can't see anything inside of it, but he can see perfectly clearly from a bird's eye view.
Rain of Frozen Death His most powerful spell, the RoFD can potentially kill thousands of enemies at once. RoFD involves Daven using the tiny ice particles in rainclouds to draw them above him, using his remaining power to split the cloud into millions of small icicles, cutting up those who get in it's way into tiny little pieces. The downside to this spell is the high amounts of energy it uses, at least it drains Daven of enough energy to make him immobile for a few hours, at most, it knocks him into a coma that can last for a week.

Good at fencing (this does not mean combat sword fighting, it just means that if someone challenged him to a traditional, no magic, sword duel he would not be likely to lose).
Weaknesses- Close combat. Although he is good at parrying and blocking, he has extreme difficulty with actually getting damage through. Although his defences are good, his constitution is frail, only allowing him to take a few straight hits before he goes down.

He couldn't use water magic. After this fact was discovered, he was shunned by the family, all but removed from the family inheritance. But it was not all bad. Daven was sent off to a famous school of swordsmanship, where he started to learn the art of the fencer, he would have been the greatest fencer of all time if it were not for the fact that he could not master finishing his opponents off, preffering to win by disarming his opponent, a practice lookd down upon by most swordsman of his style.
One day, he had to return to the family home to witness his younger sibling inherit the family throne, when he inadvertedley insulted one of his cousin's honor. The family was furious, all around him he could here the family harnessing the water spells which had condemned him to this pitiful existence. Then, suddenly, he felt something, an iner ball of power fuelled by the rage which he was feeling at that moment. Daven twirled around just as the family unleashed a roaring typhoon worth of water blasts. He held out his hand, the power coursing through his body, unleashing a latent magic power which froze the entire onslaught in it's tracks, taking half the family with it.
The family, shocked by his sudden counterattack, fled for their lives as he shattered the ice of his frost spell, shaping it into a million darts of icy death, ready to be unleashed upon all that ever doubted him. When the mages of the land heard about this they began hunting him down, searching for him all throughout the country. But by that time he was long gone, having fled to a distant land to ply his "talents" even further.
Ten months later and Daven is now in this strange land, a wanted criminal with a bounty on his head in several different lands. This does not bother him, apart from the occasional attack by bounty-hunters. He comes seeking riches and loot, preferably magical. Maybe, in a best case scenario, followers.

Shadow ring: A powerful artifact, this ring allows him to teleport in an emergency. This takes up a lot of power and concentration, so he needs to put up a protective ice barrier before he teleports. Runs on the user's pain. Daven has spent some time exploring it's secrets and believes it is literally the key to a tomb of some sort.
