Appearence: Wheres a full leather armor, with pockets, animal skin boots, has pretty tanned skin, and is well musculed yet lean, also has piercing deep blue eyes, and hair that comes dont almost covering his eyes, also wheres a scarf, and carries a long sword on his back, also wheres intriicatly designed metal bracers on his forearms.
Personality: He has a strong bond with nature and animals as anyone can see, at first he may seem cold sarcastic and distant, but the closer you get to him the warmer, nice, more humorous side, also he has pretty good intelligence, but it is nothign compared to his wisdom, he also has strong determination and will to live and to complete his goals, he's not afraid of sacrifice, and will do much for the friends close to him, to him there is no good or evil, just people
History: There is a rural region in the world that is constantly under war, this area on maps is dubbed the Cullen, this place is full of mystery and is deeply entangled by the forest that inhabits it, deep within Cullen lie warring tribes, the two prominent ones that are at constant battle and usually have control of the lesser tribes are Dinsmore and Hafgan.
These wars have been going on since the elders of Cullen could remember, and now with the rising numbers of casualties they have decided to take action, they went to the Cheiftains of Dinsmore and Hafgan, and told of the plight that rests ahead of them and the Cullen if they continue on with their fighting. After some deliberation both tribes have agreed with the elders and decided with their plan to eventually bring the Cullen to peace.
There plan was to bring a man from Dinsmore and a women from Hafgan, both of these would bear children which would have the blood of both tribes. After they the children would retreat back to their tribes and be raised, then the treaty would form and both siblings would unite Dinsmore and Hafgan and rule together to bring peace to the Cullen.
Now that the tribes agreed the chieftan from Dinsmore and the chieftan from Hafgan. This couple retreated into a remote place in the Cullen and lived with each other about 2 weeks everymonth to get aquanted withthemselves, it wasnt too long before they fell in love and decided to bear children. They came with twins one a man and one a women, they decided to tatoo these two with intricate symbol of unification on the left palm of the male, and the right palm on the female, so when the time comes they can finally meet and unite the Cullen. From that point on both of the split up, the Chieftan of Dinsmore took the boy, while the Chieftan from Hafgan took the girl, then they started the task to raise them
The boy was named Ansgar Llyr for hopes he would bring to the Cullen for the future. Also at the time of his birth he was bonded with a animal companion. The companion was the same age of Ansgar and was of the rare race of Dire Wolves, the one that Ansgar was parted with was the unique Dire wolf, Phelan, what made him so unique was of the mysterious silver/gray streak that ran down the spine of his back against the undaunting pure white fur he had. From then on both were raised and were trained to fight together, Ansgar and Phelan bothed bonded very well liek brothers, almost like a mystical bride from the realms of beast and man. It was a tradition that the Cheiftans of Dinsmore to be bonded with animals at birth, the last cheiftans animal was that of a brilliant stag.
The times passed and Ansgar matured, learning the style of fighting with the chieftans,he learned of the land, and to survive and live of it, Ansgar was a good learning and he gained much wisdom quick, yet with the culture and intellect outside the Cullen Ansgar was limited and did not know of what lied out side the warring territory.
Ansgar learned and trained up until the age of 15 when the event of the yearly hunt came. Ansgar had just reached the age where he could participate in the hunt. They split up into groups and began the hunt, Ansgar and Phelan were miles ahead of everyone else when it came to hunting and skills, they worked together like a force never seen before, it sure was something to see. But as dusk approached one of the lesser tribes labeled as bandits attacked the group, many were wounded and killed and Ansgar and Phelan, where knocked out, then injured and left for dead in the confusion due to the sudden ambush.
Soon Ansgar soon awakened and saw that him and Phelan were bandaged up by the campfire, by a somewhat aged man in leather armor. He had a beard and by his side carried a decorative long sword. After sometime just observing the man by the fire, Ansgar finally realized who the man was. His name was Garrow Lightfoot, a man told in many stories in the Cullen, he was a very known warrior with skills in the long sword that was born in the Cullen but is one of the only ones to travel frequently out of it, a legend you can say in the rural area, but he was passed his prime, and did not match the epic proportions he did in the stories, Ansgar finally awakened and decided to talk and confront Garrow.
Garrow said that he was wondering by when he saw Ansgar and Phelan on the forest ground laying in critical condition and decided to help them, what Garrow didnt know was that Ansgar and Phelan were the ones destined to bring back peace to the Cullen due to his recent travels outside, he thought that they were just peasants. So due to his charity in his heart he decided to take Ansgar in as his own and teach him the ways of the sword. The main reason because of this decision was that he say the strong presense and will to live inside Ansgar, something rarely seen, so he decided that he was worthy of learning his style. Ansgar not knowing where he know was and thinking that Dinsmore would now be raided and destroyed by the bandits agreed to train and travel by Garrow's side.
Over the last 3 years Ansgar and Phelan have traveled and trained outside the Cullen. Ansgar has proved proficient with they style of the sword, yet keeping up with his old style with Phelan from Dinsmore. This old style was something Garrow never understood, let alone questioned. The bond between the three has now grown very close as they travel and grow. But now Ansgar keeps havving reoccuring thoughts about his past, and what his future is meant for... Will he go back to the Cullen and follow the destiny that he was meant for? Or continue learning about the outside world learning his skills with the sword with Garrow..? Only time will tell
Fighting style: Ansgar has two distinct fighting styles; both of which have no names yet (mainly because of havent thought of good ones)
The first one is taught by the Chieftans of Dinsmore, primarily a hand to hand style focuses block, countering and ambusing, with techniques that resembles animals, and uses blocks with the metal bracers on Ansgar's forearms; but what makes the style so unique is that it also synchronizes techniques with the animal companion, its a very hard syle to master, but very effective since its uses many techniques that warriors have never seen or even considered doing
The second style is the sword art taught by Garrow. Ansgar is still in the process of learning it so he hasnt mastered it completly. The style focuses on mostly countering with a strong defense, uses speed to vital areas, althought it is not very known for a strong offensive until the highest levels of mastery, which Ansgar still has a long way to learn to master
